Role Overview:

As a Software Development Engineer (SDE), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable software solutions that cater to the needs of modern banking systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and secure applications while leveraging the latest technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Software Development:

    • Design, develop, and deploy scalable and maintainable backend systems.
    • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
    • Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.

  2. Problem-Solving & Optimization:

    • Solve complex technical challenges related to banking systems and software scalability.
    • Optimize applications for maximum performance and reliability.

  3. Collaboration:

    • Work closely with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to define and implement solutions.
    • Collaborate with DevOps teams for seamless CI/CD pipelines and deployments.

  4. Security & Compliance:

    • Implement security best practices and ensure software adheres to regulatory standards.
    • Perform regular security assessments and fix vulnerabilities.

  5. Continuous Improvement:

    • Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in software engineering.
    • Mentor junior developers and participate in peer code reviews.

Key Skills Required:

  1. Programming Expertise:
    • Proficiency in Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, PHP.
  2. Backend Frameworks:
    • Experience with Node.js, Spring Boot, Django, or equivalent.
  3. Database Management:
    • Strong knowledge of SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra).
  4. Cloud Computing:
    • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  5. DevOps Tools:
    • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
  6. System Design & Scalability:

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Education:
    • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  2. Experience:
    • Open to exceptional freshers or candidates with 0-2 years of experience.
  3. Additional Preferences:
    • Competitive programming experience (Codeforces, LeetCode, etc.) is a plus.
    • Prior experience in fintech or banking projects is advantageous.
